

3D visualization of CAR T cell-tumoral interactions
Research focus
Our work focuses in understanding how hematopoietic tissues are structurally organized into functional compartments. Using state of the art 3D imaging techniques, we here investigate the dynamics of leukemia development and anti-tumoral responses in the bone marrow. We are currently addressing the following specific questions:
- Spatiotemporal dynamics of anti leukemic T cell responses, including persistence of CAR T cells post-therapy
- Tissue-wide localization and CAR T cell-tumor cell interactions in mouse and xenograft models of leukemia and glioblastoma
- Identity and localization of niches harboring therapy resistant cells in bone marrow tissues
